eVisa for Oman
The Oman eVisa has now been launched and is currently available to access online for those traveling to Oman.
The aim of the online visa services for Oman is to shorten time spent standing in line at the airport on arrival. Also it will improve the process of requesting visas via embassies or consulates abroad.
Authorities also hope that this technological investment will help the economy of Oman. As a consequence the eVisa for Oman will facilitate new agreements with foreign investors who will now be more likely to travel to Oman for business or tourism purposes.
Oman Online Visa Services
Travelers wishing to visit Oman can now apply online for their e-visa. Applicants will pay the visa fee via a secure online platform.
The moderized e-visa procedure will be linked to border control authority databases. This will help therefore Omani authorities to process the request electronically. Finally the system will send the approved evisa to the applicant as quickly as possible.
