The New Kazakhstan eVisa Is Now Available

The Kazakh government has announced that the eVisa portal has been launched and is now live. Citizens of 117 countries can apply for a tourist online visa in minutes, while 23 nationalities are eligible for business and medical treatment online visas.

The new online visa was designed to speed up and simplify the application process. Until now, all foreign nationals in need of a visa had to physically visit a Kazakh embassy or consulate and fill out lengthy paperwork in order to be granted entry.

Mukhtar Tileuberdi, First Deputy Foreign Minister, said “We will check the information with the database and if there are no restrictions, we will issue a visa. This will ease the registration process, especially for the countries where there are no consular services available.”

A Modern Country With Breathtaking Landscapes

A former Soviet republic, Kazakhstan is now one of the largest countries in the world, extending from the Caspian Sea to China. Rural Kazakhstan offers diverse and breathtaking views and is perfect for lovers of wildlife and the great outdoors. From sand dunes to ski runs, from the remains of the Silk Road to the neverending steppe, there is something for everyone.

After the fall of the Berlin Wall, Kazakhstan has undergone a period of modernization and economic growth — so much so that it is now one of the most advanced economies in Central Asia.

The capital Almaty and other major cities reflect this renewal and offer a futuristic skyline together with all sorts of attractions and entertainment. The nightlife is buzzing and we are sure that you will find the perfect gift in one of Kazakhstan’s many shopping malls.
